People tinker with their hybrid cars and
make them get up to 250 mpg in the process.
This is really impressive, but we're still going after the tree-hugger
demographic. What we need is a hybrid muscle car that gets 200
mpg and can out-accelerate everything else (which electric drive can do
very well, AFAIK).
Then, people would buy metric assloads of them.
