Eric Gunnerson has a
funny (too geeks) post to his blog about "shower debugging".
Basically, he says that he fixes lots of bugs and design issues when he
is in the shower. I laughed when I said that, because most of my
bigger problems with work are solved in the shower or in bed. I
will wake up too early (5:00 or 6:00 am -- I work at home) and start
thinking about work. I've obviously been thinking of it during
sleep, so I can't get back to bed.
I usually jump out of bed, grab a cup of the essence of life (you may
know it as "coffee") and have my most productive hours of the day.
I wonder if non-geeks have the same productivity boost in these places.
